By suasion and support of friends from the band Riblja Čorba, Kraljevski Apartman was founded at the end of 1996. Basic idea of the band was to show to the kids what the authentic rock is. As guests on tour of Riblja Čorba and by having lots of gigs, they realize that there's audience wishing for authentic and strong sounded music. With their uncompromised attitude, the band got reputation of cult band, but their leader and main composer Zoran Zdravković realized that the band has much more potential. Unfortunately, both the previous or present publisher wasn't open to help the band adequately to promote their material and Zdravković decided to find another publisher.

In 2000, the band released the second album Izgubljen u vremenu produced by Rock Express Records, sold in circulation that is impressive for Serbian market. They made 3 video-clips often aired on many TV station (except on RTV Pink).

Numbered concerts and attention of media placed them on the forehead of new wave of YU hard 'n' heavy movement. Album was released in many countries from Japan to Russia and Mexico, and had a lot of good critics in European magazines, included interviews in prestige Czech, Slovakian and Polish magazines.
