Štuka based their sound on the heritage of the psychedelic branch of the US garage rock of the late '60s and on the roots of the Yugoslavian '80s' New Wave movement.
Singer Ivan Ristanović joined the band at the end of 2006. Their bass player Milorad Lukić was replaced by Davor Ivanjak in 2007.
