LION'S SIP

Applying for the Lion's Sip - Fastest Beer Drinking Contest through our site is now closed. Candidates will be informed about contest schedule in person. In order to apply for the contest, please contact the officials at the stand of Lav beer at the festival. Those who succeed in overmastering last year's champions will be awarded adequately by the sponsor of the contest, Lav beer.

Last year's Belgrade Beer Fest featured several different categories of competition, including single and group contests in fast beer drinking as well as the beer brands competition, and for the first time introducing the contest in holding beer mugs.

Quarterfinals	Friday, August 17, 20:00, stand of Lav Pivo
Semifinals	Saturday, August 18, 20:00, stand of Lav Pivo
Finals	Sunday, August 19, 22:00, Main Stage

Single contest – men

• Quarterfinals: 12 groups with 4 contestants (48 contestants in all), the first-placed from each group goes to finals 
• Semifinals: 3 groups with 4 contestants (12 contestants in all), the first-placed from each group goes to finals 
• Finals: 3 contestants plus last year's winner

Single contest – women

• Quarterfinals: 12 groups with 4 contestants (48 contestants in all), the first-placed from each group goes to finals
• Semifinals: 3 groups with 4 contestants (12 contestants in all), the first-placed from each group goes to finals
• Finals: 3 contestants plus last year's winner

Group contest (3 contestants, at least one is female)

• Quarterfinals: 12 groups, knockdown system, 6 groups go to finals
• Semifinals: 6 groups, knockdown system, 3 groups go to finals
• Finals: 3 groups

Beer brands contest

• Semifinals: 3 groups with 3 contestants (9 contestants in all), the first-placed go to finals
• Finals: 3 contestants

Contest in holding beer mugs

• Finals: 14 contestants

Underage persons are not permitted into entering the contest. Full list of contestants will be available through the site before the festival.
