When Zdravković and Lalović started a band at the end of 1996 and decided to call it Kraljevski apartman, it was with the help and support from their close friends, members of Riblja čorba. Initially their intention was to demonstrate their musical prowess and 'show the kids what true rock 'n' roll sounds like', and that's exactly what they did: after they were 'promoted' into guests on the tour of Riblja čorba, they impressed rock fans with their athentic, uncompromising sound which helped them gain cult status. Soon their frontman and main composer Zoran Zdravković realized the full potential of the band and decided to use it by finding a publisher that could offer the band adequate promotion and media coverage.
Their second album, Izgubljen u vremenu was released in 2000 in Rock Express Records production. This is one of the best-selling albums on the Serbian market, with three video spots often aired on TV channels (except for the Pink TV).
The band's dynamic concert activity and strong media support gained them position as leaders of the new wave of the hard n' heavy movement in Yugoslavia. International connections made possible the distribution of the album in many countries, including Japan, Russia, and Mexico. Apart from receiving favourable reviews for the album from many European magazines and fanzines, the band also gave interviews for prestigious Czech, Slovakian, and Polish magazines.
